HO, HO, HO, SANTA CAME TO SEE THE SARGE
Yep, the Old Sarge has moved up in the computer world. This is my new Dell XPS1530, crimson red, ho ho ho........
It was here when we got home from poker last night and I worked feverishly until after 1 AM trying to learn how to use it. It has Vista operating system, which I know nothing about but I am slowly learning how things work.
This is a step in the right direction, I found Sarge Charlie
And as you can see, I even managed to download some photos, I must admit they are not very good but, oh well.
I did not mention but as we were getting ready to go on our cruise, I dropped my old laptop and managed to destroy it. I was not happy with it anyway because it was so slow it would take forever to open a page. While on the phone with the Dell salesman I told him I wanted to see smoke when I clicked on a page to open. We decided that a 2.5 GHz processor would do the job and let me tell you it smokes.......
You see the Old Sarge very happy so far.........
This is the very first post from my new computer, now what do you think of that?

Maybe after my last class at tech next quarter, I can manage to get a new desk top. Gonna reformat and upgrade/customize the computer that I have now for my granddaughter.
I'm still using XP, although I use Vista too (at Tech and on my Mom's computer). Vista takes a little getting use to.
