Just so you know, my opinion of the press can go lower....
About this, I can only say, HOLY CRAP, where was the Secret Service, ok the first shoe would have been hard to stop but he managed to throw two........
I see this as a shameful event and no, I would not pardon this jerk. I am offended by the small minority of Iraqi people who did support him. I give President bush kudos, he joked that he could see his sole. George W. made a good move on the head shot. You may have to check your shoes at the door in the future.
Journalistic integrity (As if there is such a thing) was the only casualty in the shoe throwing incident.
OH, what do I think of this........
The same thing I think of this after 9/11/01......

I am so disgusted with the people who are not outraged by this incident....I could just spit! But, you are wrong about the one thing hurt is the integrity of the press....Dana, the President's Press Secretary was hit by one of the shoes and got a black right eye. That is an attack with a deadly weapon....some shoes really stink! America should be demanding bigtime apologies.
i think the press is so far left now that they shall fall into the pacific. (hopefully)

I thought the President handled this very, very well. He can move fast too. The shoe thrower? A filthy pig.
Glad you are home safe Sarge. Big hug to you and Empress Bee. :)
I'm sorry that this is the sort of crap you have to come home to, Sarge. It disgusts me how many people think that this was a great thing - it should NEVER be considered a great thing when someone attacks our President no matter what they are attacking him with.
This entire incident was nauseating and the way the press has handled it is simply wrong.
President Bush is just that...our President.
Sickening!
~AirmanMom returning to her blog...
If it had been Reagan, he's been shot before the second left his foot!
I supose we can be thankful it was just a shoe.
Have a merry Christmas and a happy new year Sarge
Yeah, I don't really get the shoe thing. I mean, that's something angry women do --toss their Manolo Blahniks across the room, you know?
Anyway, Jams is right... at least it was just a shoe. And he handled himself VERY well.
